The Cape Breton Regional Chamber of Commerce advocates for local business priorities through letters, submissions, policy input, government engagement, and participation in broader Chamber network advocacy.
Some advocacy is led directly by the Chamber on behalf of our members. Other work is advanced in collaboration with regional and national partners, including the Atlantic Chamber of Commerce and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce.
When regional or national policy positions align with the needs of businesses in the CBRM, the Chamber may support, share, adopt, or participate in those efforts.

CBRCC signed Atlantic Canada’s Prosperity Charter, supporting regional efforts to connect students and graduates with employers, mentorship, work-integrated learning, and career opportunities across Atlantic Canada.
