04 Dec Local Holiday Shopping Guide
The Cape Breton Regional Chamber of Commerce’s mission is for businesses to thrive in the CBRM. We recognize that the holiday season is one of family, love, celebration and of course… gift-giving! In an effort to promote what is available to us right here at home this holiday season, we want to play a small role in ensuring that our community is thinking local when buying for their friends and families.
Our local shopping guide is a collection of offers and promotions from local businesses right here in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality! We encourage you to take a look and find at least one business where you can purchase a gift for a loved one, locally! This holiday season, we want you to CHOOSE to shop locally. Not only does this feel good, but it also does good in our community. When we make the choice to #SHOPCBRM we are ensuring and even creating jobs at local businesses, we are investing in our community, encouraging local prosperity, and helping to build a more connected and vibrant community.
Additionally, when you support local business, it allows those businesses to give back to local charities and non-profits, invest back into our community, grow our economy, create job security, expand their products and services and even potentially export into new markets.
Those are just a few reasons why shopping local just makes sense. There are so many unique gift ideas when you choose to #SHOPCBRM this season, so get out there and get shopping in our communities, not only does it feel good, but we bet you will make personal connections along the way and once the holidays are done, you will be back for more throughout the whole year!
We can’t wait to follow along. Share our guide and tag us for a chance to win some really awesome prizes! Oh.. and don’t forget to use #SHOPCBRM when you are shopping local.
